‘Inc.’ survey ranks Titagarh Wagons as

top player among its peers

 

Kolkata, October 21, 2010 :  Titagarh Wagons Ltd (TWL) has emerged as the top player in the non-electrical equipment sector and an overall 32nd rank in the ‘Top 100’ mid-sized companies compiled by ‘Inc.’, a magazine focused on entrepreneurs and emerging corporates in India.

According to the annual survey of the Top 500 mid-sized companies released in the September-October 2010 issue of Inc., these companies have recorded an average sales growth of 50 per cent every year in the last three years (this includes the global recession phase of 2008-09).

TWL is one of the leading private sector wagon manufacturers in India. It is primarily engaged in the manufacture of railway wagons, rail coaches (EMUs), Bailey bridges, heavy earth moving machinery besides steel and SG iron castings. The company is listed on BSE and NSE.
