Directi employees are encouraged to identify and recommend a ‘potential hire’ within their own networking circles. As next steps, employees conduct the first round of interviews over the phone or in person. Employees have the liberty to fly to any city to interview candidates or have their friends fly to Mumbai for their interview. Having selected the appropriate candidate, the contender is further referred for an interview with the CEO. On selection of a referred candidate, an employee is compensated handsomely with a ‘car’ or ‘equivalent incentives.’
