Chinese
steel pipe producer expands into high quality market with Siemens rod
outlet

Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., Ltd. (Xinxing), a Chinese producer of carbon
products and steel pipes, has contracted with Siemens VAI Metals Technologies to
supply a new rod outlet for its plant in Wuhu City. The new equipment will
enable the company to enter the high quality and specialty steel markets. The
project is expected to start up in late 2012.
