Continuous homogenizing plant for SAPA

Hertwich Engineering, Austria, has received an order from SAPA RC Profiles NV/SA, Ghlin, Belgium, for the supply of a continuous homogenizing plant. With the new plant SAPA increases its production and can now produce billet diameters of 228 mm and 254 mm.

Hertwich Engineering supplies a continuous homogenizing plant, a cooling station as well as a newly developed ‘’turbo’’ cooler and a sawing and packing station. This plant is to replace an older plant. The commissioning will be in September 2011.
