L'Oreal Professionnel COLOUR TROPHY 2011
August, Kolkata: The L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2011 grand finale for the eastern region was held in Kolkata at a gala function attended by top hairdressers and stylists of the city along with models who walked the ramp sporting a variety of hairdos and hair styles.
This year Vinay Sissodia, winner of 2008 L'Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy, Mehemaaz Dondy, Editor of Grazia, Europe's leading style magazine, Rid Burman, a graduate from Brooks Institute of Photography and fashion designer Rahul Mishra were the jury members who selected the winners.
In New Generation category Female Stylist winner was Kabita Puri of A N John and Male Stylist winner was Peter from The Looks Professional Salon. In Men's Image category the Winner was Lalit Panwar from The Panwar Salon. First Runners up was Mary Christina Lakra from A N John.
In COLOUR TROPHY category the winner was Saviel D'Rozario from Head Turners and the First Runners up was Deepak Sain from Rajasthan Salon. There were two second runners up in this category - Ropul from NY Salon & Spa and Habibur Rehman from A N John.
Since its beginnings in 1955, the L'Oreal Professionnel COLOUR TROPHY has developed into UK's most glamourous hairdressing competition. Over the years, it has launched the careers of numerous talented hairdressers, and remains a dream for many to win.
Today, L'Oreal Professionnel COLOUR TROPHY exists in 32 countries worldwide and is perceived as one of the most extravagant events in the world.
