Barcamp XII yet again at SAP Labs India
For the third consecutive time, SAP Labs India hosted Barcamp Bangalore, the flagship technology unconference, at their campus in Whitefield, Bangalore. The unconference witnessed a confluence of more than 500 techies who participated and conducted various workshops and sessions which were based on a majority of common interest.

The 12th edition of Barcamp saw an exchange of ideas, insights and knowledge, on a variety of tech and non-tech topics. This year, saw ‘Techlash’, another session which provided participants an opportunity to bring their smart and innovative technology solutions to the limelight. Among the 36 sessions that were held this year, some of the popular ones included, Lean Startup Principles: An Engineer’s Perspective, Exploratory testing and Impress.js – Whoever said presentations have to be boring.

Ninad Pundalik, a participant at Barcamp expressed his excitement and said, “The most exciting part of Barcamp is its democratic format which encourages spontaneous, open-ended interactions, exchange of knowledge and ideas, learning and unlearning the dynamics of various trends. Barcamp makes technology fun and I make it a point to never miss it.”

“We are delighted that SAP Labs is partnering with us in our objective of promoting fresh ideas and providing talent and innovation a platform to germinate. Barcamp is a catalyst for knowledge sharing especially among the younger generations and we are glad to see enthusiastic and diverse participation as always. The turnout for registration of sessions at BCB XII has been phenomenal and we are more than happy to incubate innovation and enable knowledge sharing”, said Amit Khare, an organizer of Barcamp Bangalore XII.
