Ford India strengthens presence in South India; Inaugurates new facility in Bangalore
With its strong commitment to increasing convenience to customers and making its services more accessible, Ford India today inaugurated a brand new facility Lathangi Ford in Bangalore. The new facility in the city of Bangalore is in line with Ford’s aggressive expansion plans to reach closer to its customers in India.

Inaugurating the new facility in Bangalore, N Raja, vice president, sales, Ford India said, “Ford is committed to expanding our network in line with our aggressive expansion plans for India to reach closer to our customers to support our growing product range. The inauguration of this new facility is yet another step in that direction and I take this opportunity to congratulate the entire team at Lathangi Ford.”

The dealership located in the JP Nagar area covers an area of 10,000 square feet and is built according to Ford's global standard to improve the ownership experience and ensure a long-term association with the brand.

In addition to the inauguration of this brand new facility, Ford is also conducting a Special Service Campaign across India, including Bangalore, wherein Ford customers can avail of special discounts and other attractive benefits. They will also be able to access special services as they get their vehicles serviced. With a focus on making Indian roads safer, Ford will also be conducting special Driving Skills for Life sessions at these service camps to educate drivers on economical, eco-friendly and green ways of driving.

The aggressive sales and service network expansion has been in line with Ford’s plans to bring in 8 new products in India by mid-decade and also support Ford’s global plan of increasing worldwide sales by nearly 50 percent by mid-decade to 8 million vehicles a year. Of that figure, 60 to 70 percent is expected to come from the Asia Pacific and Africa region with India playing a significant role in the Ford Growth story.
