As a salute to those who continue to delve into the last great unexplored domain on earth—that which lies beneath the surface of the mysterious sea—we proudly introduce our new Alpina Diver Midsize Collection. Lovingly designed and carefully crafted to meet the most stringent demands of even experienced divers, every aspect of the Diver Midsize offers a glimpse into the world of “What if?”

What if I could dive as deep as this watch is designed to go; more than 1,000 feet beneath the surface. What would I see? What if I could lie on a beach under the palm tree just like the one so beautifully engraved into the 38mm-wide case back of the Diver Midsize, alongside the Alpina-branded air tanks? What if I just strapped one of those watches on my wrist and dived right in?

One for women and one for...both!

The new Alpina Diver Midsize Collection is presented in two models. For ladies, we offer a stunning Mother of Pearl white face, surrounded by eight sparkling diamonds that shine like the midday sun in a crystal clear Geneva sky.

Large white, luminous indices are placed at the 12 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, while an extra-large date window is located in the 3 o’clock position. Alpina’s signature red triangle is proudly featured at the base of the silver second hand, while the hour and minute hands are luminous white with a silver surround.

Ladies can choose between two attractive and functional straps. With constant attention to a diver’s needs, the Alpina Diver Midsize white model comes with either a white rubber strap that can be adjusted to fit over the arm of a wetsuit, or the watch can be fitted with a stainless steel metal bracelet. As with most things in life, the choice is yours.

The second model in the Alpina Diver Midsize range will certainly appeal to both men and women. As the name suggests, with a diameter of 38mm, this midsize watch will look good on any wrist.

The striking black dial is set inside a shining stainless steel case. Luminous white indices stand out from the black dial, and again, the extra-large date window is featured at the 3 o’clock location.

The turnable uni-directional bezel has luminous engravings at the edges, and both quartz models come equipped with a battery that provides 45 months of dependable service. Alpina Diver Midsize faces are covered with sapphire crystal at the front, and the closed stainless steel back is engraved with the aforementioned palm tree, Alpina-branded air tanks and around the edge, the words “Alpina Extreme Diver” and “Swiss Made.”

Those opting for the black dial version of the Diver Midsize also have the choice of two straps. They can select the stainless steel version, or a black rubber strap.

No less a worldwide celebrity than William Baldwin is the Alpina Global Brand Ambassador. We are delighted to announce that he will hold that position until the end of 2013. As well as being a star recognised across the planet, William Baldwin is, of course, also a member of one of the best-known families in the entertainment industry. It is perhaps, then, wonderfully ironic that we welcome with great anticipation this newest member of the Alpina Adventure family, the Alpina Diver Midsize Collection.
