About the Gold Rush 2011 Conference In London, England Gold Rush 21, the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee's conference in Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada, in August 2005, brought the world’s attention to the Western central bank gold price suppression scheme. The gold price, then around $400 per ounce, immediately took off. Six years later gold has exceeded $1,600 but Western central banks and their agents, the bullion banks, still obstruct free markets in gold and the other monetary metal, silver. GATA is holding Gold Rush 2011 in London to celebrate what Gold Rush 21 accomplished and to consider where the precious metals might go in free markets and a reformed world financial system. London is home of two major perpetrators of the gold price suppression scheme, the Bank of England and the London Bullion Market Association.
About GATA GATA exposes and works against interference with free markets in gold, other precious metals, currencies, and related securities. GATA is a non-profit educational and civil rights organization founded in 1999, incorporated in Delaware, and recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as federally tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
