KraussMaffei at the Big 5 building and construction show: Zabeel Hall, booth N111

KraussMaffei showcases impressive product spectrum at Dubai’s Big 5

Munich, October 6, 2010The KraussMaffei booth at the Big 5 Building and Construction show in Dubai (November 22 to 25, 2010) will showcase a broad selection of the company’s products with the focus on the company’s Reaction Process Machinery division. Visitors to the Zabeel Hall, Booth N111, will be able to find out more about our systems for producing insulated panels and for insulating double-walled pipes.

Thermal insulation in focus

Among other topics, the spotlight will be on KraussMaffei’s double belt system for the automated production of insulated panels used in interior and exterior applications. With a wealth of product samples, posters and presentations, KraussMaffei experts will illustrate production of the whole bandwidth of insulated panels – in different thicknesses, colours and formats and with outer layers of different materials to match customer specifications.

Rigid foam applications in the construction sector

Another focus is on KraussMaffei systems for insulating the double-walled pipes used to transport district heating media, water and oil, or for encapsulating telecommunication lines. Using KraussMaffei PUR foam systems, the gap between the two walls can be filled with PUR foam, so that whatever is inside is well-protected from external elements. Finally, there is an overview of rigid foam applications for the whole building and construction sector. These range from producing door panels with a rigid foam core to insulating collectors for solar water heating.

“Our solutions for the building and construction sector and for all conventional rigid foam applications – such as insulating pipes and manufacturing refrigerators and boilers – are more in demand than ever throughout the Middle East,” explains Maximilian Wankerl, Area Sales Manager at KraussMaffei. “Our presence at the Big 5 show is part of our drive to strengthen our market position in this sector and to give ourselves a launch pad for applications in other sectors, for example, automotive.”
