·         SOW includes providing sewerage network and construction of Sewage Treatment Plant for Kanpur city

 Kolkata, October 14, 2009:  Subhash Projects And Marketing Ltd (SPML), one of India’s leading infrastructure development companies, has successfully secured an order worth Rs 211.95 crore from U.P. Jal Nigam for providing sewerage network and construction of Sewage Treatment Plant for the city of Kanpur on turnkey basis. The project is a part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission and will cater to the populace of Kanpur city, the largest commercial centre in Uttar Pradesh, with a huge requirement for sewage solutions owing to massive sewage discharge.

The scope of work for the project would include survey, soil testing, design, supply and construction, installation and commissioning of 130 Km long sewerage network which includes branch main and trunk sewers. Also, construction of 14 MLD & 40 MLD capacity Intermediate Sewage Pumping Station (IPS) and a 42 MLD capacity Sewage Treatment Plant based on Activated Sludge Process (ASP) at Karankhera in Sewerage District – IV, Kanpur, including other appurtenant works on turnkey basis at Kanpur.
