Novera Energy plc today announces a number of changes to its board.
Mr David Fitzsimmons has stepped down as Novera's Chief Executive Officer and has ceased to be a director of the Company by mutual agreement.
Mr Richard Round, who has served as Novera's Finance Director since August 2009, has been
appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company whilst also continuing in his role as Finance Director. Novera has commenced a search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
In addition, Mr John Hewson has been appointed to the Board of Directors in his role as Operations Director and will assume control and responsibility for all day-to-day operations.
Mr John Francis Hewson, aged 50, is currently a director of Aveley Methane Limited, Bidston Methane Limited (both Novera joint ventures) and was previously a director of Anglian Bio-Gen Limited. Mr Hewson holds 131,807 shares in the Company. There is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 17 and schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
