With the new Siroll CM reversing cold mill, Siemens VAI Metals Technologies offers steel producers a compact system for the production of cold rolled strip in quantities of between 200,000 and 250,000 tonnes per year. The reversing cold mill has a 6-high mill stand and is designed for the processing of a wide variety of steel types. The system is designed in such a way that it can be quickly installed and started up and is easy to operate and maintain. The ROI is typically reached after a short period of time. Two versions are available for maximum strip widths of 1250 and 1450 mm and coil weights of between 20 and 30 tonnes respectively.
