The Russian CJSC Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant, TVSZ, located in the town of Tikhvin, 200 km east of St Petersburg, has awarded Siemens Metals Technologies an order to equip the electric steel production line in its steel works with a SVC Plus static var compensator and a 10 kV Switchgear. The investment is worth several million euros.
