Statement by the Spokesperson of High Representative Catherine Ashton on the terrorist attacks in Dagestan
The spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission, issued the following statement today:
"The High Representative condemns in the strongest possible terms the heinous terrorist attacks that took many lives and injured more than a hundred people last night in Dagestan. There can be no justification for such criminal acts.
The High Representative expresses her condolences to the victims and their families and friends as well as the people of the Russian Federation."
