Delhi, 14 May 2012 – This year the World Economic Forum on India will
be held in India's National Capital Region, Gurgaon - a financial and industrial
centre in the state of Haryana south of New Delhi, it was announced today. The
meeting will mark the first time that the Forum's annual gathering in India
convenes as the World Economic Forum on India, previously known as the India
Economic Summit, held in the country for the past 27 years.
