The Low-Cal Celebration Cooking Class with Chef Zubin D'souza at Svenska Design Hotel, Mumbai on December 14th, 2011


In an exciting new initiative, Svenska Design Hotels announced the launch of a series of cooking classes on Spanish-Mediterranean cuisine by professional chefs of Miro, who have been taught by Michelin-star chefs from Europe.



Svenska’s team of culinary experts is led by Celebrity Chef Zubin D’Souza, graduate of the Oberoi Center of Learning & Development (OCLD). Author of various culinary books and with experience spanning leading hospitality chains across multiple continents, Chef D’Souza will teach some neat recipes along with hands-on experience of cooking a gourmet meal.
Subsequently, the participants will enjoy the meal they cook along with a glass of Sangria, a wine punch with roots in Spain and Portugal.
Cooking with the highest quality imported ingredients supplied by Juberfam Mittal to Svenska, participants will get a copy of the recipes and also be able to purchase the ingredients so that they can recreate the gastronomic delights on their own in their homes. The series of classes are held on the second Wednesday of every month and cover the entire gamut of novel and eclectic cuisines, including Spanish, Greek, Moroccan, Italian, Turkish and other Mediterranean delights.
In continuation of the highly acclaimed Svenska culinary classes, the next class is scheduled for Wednesday, the 14th of December.
