Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and editor-in-chief of Chinese Economic Blue Book President Chen Jiagui stated at the “issuing of 2010 Economic Blue Book and Chinese Economic Situation analysis and forecast symposium” held on this morning that China’s GDP may reach above 8.3% this year and above 9% next year.
Chen said in 2009, facing the severe impact of the international financial crisis and under the common efforts of various aspects, Chinese economy generally takes on a trend of steady recovery, with the anticipation target of maintaining growth to be completely realized. It is predicated that the growth of GDP throughout the year may reach above 8.3%.
