Product of the Year (POY) awards have been running
for 25 years and are conducted in 28 countries around the world. It
is one of the most definitive global
consumer recognition standards that celebrates, champions and rewards the best
innovations in retail products, which in turn are selected through an
independent consumer survey. In India the 2012 survey was conducted by AC
Nielsen.
