SAIL receives two ICC PSU Excellence Awards
New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) was conferred with twin ICC PSU Excellence Awards at the 'India Public Sector Agenda @ 2015 – Empowering Growth of India' summit held at Hotel Hyatt Regency here today. SAIL Director (Personnel) Mr. B.B. Singh received the awards in the categories of Best Human Resource Management and Research & Development, Technology Development & Innovation from Union Minister for Industries Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was Chief Guest at the event.
Organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in association with the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises, the summit was also attended by Minister for Industries, Government of Kerala Shri Elamaram Kareem, who was the Guest of Honour. Secretary (DPE) Shri Bhaskar Chatterjee was also present on the occasion along with CEOs of leading PSUs.
