Nirma University to hold International Conference on Managing Finance: Sustaining Shareholder Value

The year that went by has been witness to the recovery of the global financial environment from the recession that it faced. It led to unending debates and discussions regarding the consequences of the turmoil and its implications on the shareholder value creation. Thus reviving it and sustaining it is a challenge. This year’s NICOM, the annual international management conference hosted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University is set to be the perfect platform for the brightest minds from the industry and academia to come together and brainstorm about managing finance and sustaining the shareholder value which will lead to the empowerment of Finance as a management function.

This year’s theme is “Managing Finance: Sustaining Shareholder Value”. Keeping the challenge of restoring the shareholder value and keeping it intact, the Conference will cover topics of vital importance such as “Corporate Finance”, “Financial Services”, “Capital markets”, “Financial Reporting and Corporate Governance”, “Government Policy and Implications” and “Emerging Trends”.
