Personnel changes on the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG
The
Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG has appointed Andreas Goss to
the Executive Board effective October 1, 2012. As Chief Financial Officer
Andreas Goss will be responsible for ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG and the Steel
Americas business area. Goss was CEO of Siemens UK and North West Europe until
the beginning of the year. He succeeds Peter Urban, who will step down from the
Executive Board at September 30, 2012.
The Supervisory Board has also
appointed Thomas Schlenz as member of the Executive Board and Labor Director of
ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG effective October 1, 2012. Schlenz has been with
the company since 1979 and was Chairman of the Group Works Council of
ThyssenKrupp AG from 2001 to March 2012. Thomas Schlenz succeeds Dieter Kroll,
who will step down from the Executive Board at September 30, 2012.
