Front-end engineering and design for polypropylene plant in Tobolsk

In May 2012 the ThyssenKrupp plant construction business won a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for a single-train polypropylene plant. The plant will be built for ZapSibNeftechim L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sibur, the biggest Russian gas processing and petrochemicals group. The plant, which will have a design capacity of 500,000 t/year, is to be built in Tobolsk, Tyumen Region, in West Siberia.
