Jennifer Leuer of Experian's ProtectMyID™ joins Identity Theft Resource Center® Board of Directors


Identity theft professional to lend knowledge and insight as an industry leader in consumer protection

(San Diego, CA, June 1, 2011)The Identity Theft Resource Center®, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to the understanding of identity theft and related issues, announced today that Jennifer Leuer, SVP of Product and Membership at Experian Consumer Direct, which owns ProtectMyID™, will serve on its Board of Directors. Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to the ITRC Board and will help the organization in its efforts to continue broadening the scope of their mission.

The ITRC, founded in 1999, is a non-profit organization established to support victims of identity theft in resolving their cases, and to broaden public education and awareness in the understanding of identity theft. It is the on-going mission of the ITRC to assist victims, educate consumers, research identity theft and increase public and corporate awareness about this problem.

Jennifer’s experience with identity theft issues will deepen ITRC’s knowledge and continue to help us collaborate with those battling this crime,” continued Foley.
