4-day exhibition of ‘Lively News Photographs’ by

Photo Journalist Association, Ahmedabad from Saturday

 

 

Ahmedabad, June 3, 2010: A picture tells more than thousand words and to have the perfect picture to convey the true message one need to know. When we see a news paper daily in the morning rubbing our eyes, the first thing that attracts our attention is the picture on the front page with or without a headline. Photo Journalist Association of Ahmedabad have come together to exhibit their best work of news photographs, so that we can recall the important moments in the year gone by, many of which are historical.

 

The four days exhibition on the ‘Lively News Photographs’ captured by the ‘lensmen’ is starting from June 5, 2010 Saturday at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan. This exhibition is being sponsored by Reliance Industries Limited and supported by Simulations, the leading Public Relations Management Consultancy firm.

 

Detailing about the event, Sam Panthaky, President of Photo Journalist Association said, “This is the 5th consecutive exhibition by the association starting from year 2006. The objective behind such an exhibition is to promote quality photo-journalism and awareness about its importance. Such exhibition, while informing people at large about the hard work that goes behind capturing moments of significance, while inspiring our association members to sharpen their skills further which in turn can raise the bar of industry standards. This four days event showcases the best work of members. The exhibition also serves to provide members with important peer review of their work, as well as updating them to for new trends and techniques in photojournalism.”

  

Renowned news-photographer and winner of national and international awards , Mr. G. H. Master will inaugurate the exhibition in the presence of Mr. Shailesh Goyal, founder & CEO of Simulations.
