The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has restructured 29 projects under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) for which no bids were received. The restructuring mainly involved optimizing provision of underpasses/overpasses/structures, service road, etc. The projects include Delhi-Agra section on NH-2,Ghaziabad-Aligarh Section on NH-91, Amritsar-Pathankot Section on NH-15,Muzaffarnagar-Haridwar-Dehradun Section on NH-58/72, Jaipur-Tonk-Deoli section on NH-12. The projects which have been restructured belong to NHDP Phase II, III and V .As a result of this restructuring, viability of most of the projects has improved.
