SCCL Presents Rs. 42.38 Crore as Dividend to Government
Singareni Collieries Company Ltd., (SCCL) has paid a dividend of Rs.42.38 Crores to the Government of India for the year 2010-11. Shri S. Narsing Rao, Chairman and Managing Director presented the Dividend Cheque to the Minister of Coal, Shri Sriprakash Jaiswal here today.
SCCL is a joint under taking having 51% equity holding by GoAP and 49% by GoI. Accordingly Company has already paid Rs.44.28 Crores dividend for the year 2010-11 to Government of Andhra Pradesh.
It may be noted that the company is paying dividend consecutively for the past 8 years from 2003-04 onwards after the company entering into a net profit regime.
