For the year ended 31st March, 2009, Sonata Software’s Consolidated Revenues grew by 11% to Rs.1591 crores (Rs.1428 crores) and Consolidated Net Profit increased by 31% to Rs.76.6 crores (Rs.58.5 crores). RONW and ROCE for FY 09 were 30% and 31% respectively.
Q4 Consolidated Revenues stood at Rs.368 crores (Rs.384 crores) and Consolidated Net Profit at Rs.17.22 crores (Rs.16.89 crores).
During the year, the Company added 21 new clients, completed the first phase of its fourth ODC in Global Village SEZ, Bangalore and opened a subsidiary in the Middle East.
The ompany has adopted Accounting Standard 30 for recognition and measurement of derivative transactions.
