Siemens to provide condensate polishing system for new power plant in India
Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction has awarded Siemens Water Technologies with a
contract to provide a condensate polisher package with external regeneration facility to
GMR Chhattisgarh Energy Private Limited. The polishers will be used at the 1,370-megawatt
Raipur Super Thermal Power Plant in the state of Chhattisgarh, India, which is being built to
increase power generation capacity in the district. Siemens will design, engineer and
fabricate the condensate polisher system, which is currently scheduled for start-up in
June 2014.
