ThyssenKrupp Supervisory Board appoints Guido Kerkhoff to Executive Board

At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG resolved to appoint Guido Kerkhoff (43) as member of the Executive Board for a period of five years effective April 1, 2011. He will take over as Chief Financial Officer from Dr. Alan Hippe. At his own request, Dr. Hippe is leaving the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG at March 31, 2011.
