SHIPNET COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ATLANTIC WIND SHIPPING CORP

Oslo – 14 May 2009 – New York and Geneva based Atlantic Wind Shipping Corp. (ex Sealand Investment Corp.), which operates a fleet of 12 freezer and two reefer vessels, has signed an agreement for the ShipNet Commercial Management System, a part of ShipNet’s Marine ERP.
Atlantic Wind’s decision to implement the ShipNet solution was based upon the company’s earlier positive experience with ShipNet as their ERP vendor and their requirement of having a fully integrated commercial management system.
As Atlantic Wind’s plans are to expand utilization of their ERP system, the choice for ShipNet was critical as ShipNet can provide a solution covering all their operational and administrative areas within the ShipNet’s Marine ERP.
Terje Kristiansen, Operations Director at ShipNet, says that this contract is the first project with Atlantic Wind Shipping Corp, and this spring their utilisation of ShipNet’s Marine EPR will expand into Financial and Procurement Management.
