Siemens to provide rod outlets for two single strand wire rod mills for Lianfeng Steel
Lianfeng Steel (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., based in Jiangsu Province, China, has contracted for the supply of rod outlets for new single strand rod mills that will be located in adjacent mill bays in the same building complex in Yonglian Industrial Park in Zhangjiagang City. The new plant will enable the steelmaker to enter markets for higher quality products. Hot commissioning, scheduled in four phases, will begin in late 2011.
