PUNJAB & SIND BANK OPENS 8 NEW BRANCHES
Kolkata 22nd February 2011: Punjab & Sind Bank has opened 8 new branches in different parts of the country at the following destination:
1. Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi
2. Mudki Distt Ferozpur
3. Ajnala, Distt. Amritsar
4. *Mandal Distt, Bhilwara
5. Niwal, Distt. Tonk,
6. Durgapur, Distt. Bardhman,
7. Bindki Distt, Fatehpur,
8. Taraori, Distt. Karnal.
Mr. P.K.Anand Executive Director, while inaugurating branch at Durgapur, West Bengal said that the Bank has computerized 40% of its business and is going ahead with its ambitious plan of migrating its existing network of branches to CBS environment . He further shared that the Bank plans to take the branch tally to 1001 and ATM tally to 150 by the end of the current fiscal.
Mr. P.K.Anand has also informed that to facilitate and to provide banking services at the door step of customers, the Bank has appointed Relationship Managers.He Further re-affirn\med that bank is lending in Priority Sector aggressively.
