More security and support for the crew: New Zealand Navy modernizes two frigates with Siemens Technology
The Siemens Industry Solutions Division has received an order from the New Zealand Ministry of Defence to upgrade the Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) of two frigates of the Royal New Zealand Navy and to supply an overall Navigation Solution. The main aim is to improve the control, monitoring and automation system, to relieve the crew of routine tasks and to increase operational reliability. The order volume is in the lower double-digit million-euro range.
