Usha Martin Academy signs a MoU with the University of Sunderland, U.K.

Kolkata, 15 September 2008: - The Usha Martin Academy, promoted by the Usha Martin Group, a Rs 3,000 crore conglomerate, and supported by UshaComm as knowledge partner has signed a MoU with the University of Sunderland, U.K. 

 Features of the MoU

· Students studying PGDBM at UMA can pursue the last two semesters in U.K.  

· Students will receive a scholarship of around 1500 Pounds per annum during their study in U.K.

· They will be able to transfer credit hours for each course taken in the first year at UMA. 

· After successful completion of the courses, students will have the option to apply for work permit in U.K. for 3 years. 

· Students will get a degree from the University of Sunderland, U.K.

 The Usha Martin Academy offers high end specialized industry oriented IT courses on Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Embedded Technology, Search Engine Optimization, Infrastructure Management Support, Business Intelligence & Software Project Engineering & Management. 

Dr. Saugata Banerjee, Director Usha Martin Academy & Executive Director UshaComm says, “There is a great gap between classroom teaching and real-time industry requirements.
