INTERIM BUDGET-2009-2010
The Recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission approved by the Government has benefited over 45 lakh Central Government Employees including Defence forces and Para-Military forces and over 30 lakh Pensioners. This was stated by the Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, while presenting the Interim Budget- 2009-2010 in the Lok Sabha today. He expressed the hope that this will not only improve the quality of administration but also help the economy by supporting the demand.
