Swiss luxury brand Bally, in partnership with
the Bird Group opens its second store in India.

Following the launch of Bally’s first store in India in New Delhi, the Swiss luxury leather goods brand has opened a second store, at Mumbai’s prestigious Palladium Mall. Bally forayed into India in 2011 in partnership with the Bird Group. The beautiful Palladium Mall store covers 1300sq ft and showcases Bally’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection which includes men’s and ladies shoes, bags, ready to wear and accessories.

The store’s elegant interior features Italian marble flooring and 100% wool carpet throughout a specially designed sitting area. The use of luxurious soft alcantara on the shelves bestows the store with depth and grandeur. To further enhance the store’s sophisticated aesthetic and customer experience, dedicated areas for shoes, accessories and ready-to-wear have each been carefully considered and laid out.

Bally’s Spring/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection explores a modern romance in which streamlined sportswear silhouettes meet exquisite, petal-strewn fabrics. Bally’s Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler have created a unique contemporary aesthetic for the brand that is based around the notion of unexpected juxtaposition. Bally’s 160 year heritage of leather craftsmanship is reflected by a sense of Swiss landscapes and traditions, fused with images of a debutante in lace contrasted against Karlheinz Weinberger’s photographs of 1960s working-class teenagers.

New this season is a three-dimensional print effect using embroidery and appliqué, painstakingly applied by hand. Embroidered leather swirls, sequin-embroidered tulle, and geometric crystal shards embellish two-dimensional printed fabrics to create a textured landscape.
