This is made possible through the HP Instant-On technology (1), Mono Spherical toner cartridges (2) and the HP Carbon Footprint Calculator (3) helps businesses understand the impact of their printing on the environment. And for all those who opt to buy two toner cartridges with for their HP LaserJet P1007 / P 1008, the company also offers one year additional warranty on the printer.

(1) HP Instant-On technology – Instant-on Technology uses cutting-edge fuser technology to produce the first page faster when a printer is coming out of Power Save mode so the print job is done sooner. It uses 50% less energy than traditional fusing while offering up to 50% faster first page out speed. Also, it requires four times less energy when idle and 1.4 times less energy when copying, when compared to other printers.

(2) Mono Spherical toner cartridges – HP’s patented spherical mono toner contains particles that, coupled with HP’s latest print cartridge technology, enables consistent, professional print quality at an affordable price. HP’s patented spherical toner delivers bold, crisp text and sharper images. Spherical toner and newly incorporated cartridge technology work together to increase the precision of toner placement and therefore improves efficiencies which enables a smaller cartridge design.

(3) HP Carbon Footprint Calculator – The HP Carbon Footprint Calculator for printing gives users the power to evaluate their energy consumption, paper use, carbon output and the associated monetary costs of their printing environment to understand how they can reduce their environmental impact through responsible printing. HP has been able to announce significant energy savings on its current LaserJet printers of up to 174% against competition.
