Following the Company’s announcement on 8 December 2008 that it had submitted two further wind sites Into planning, Novera, a leading independent UK renewable energy company, is pleased to announce it Has submitted its third wind site into planning this month.
The Gordonstown Hill Wind Farm application, made to Aberdeenshire Council, is for five turbines with an Anticipated capacity of 10-12.5MW and will be located near Kirkton of Auchterless, approximately nine Kilometres south of Turriff, Aberdeenshire.
Novera already has a significant wind portfolio which includes the 15MW Mynydd Clogau Wind Farm in Mid-Wales which has been in production since January 2006, the 30MW Lissett Airfield Wind Farm which is currently under construction and two consented sites. Novera now has a total of seven sites in planning and expects to submit a further wind development Application into planning before the year end.
